It is a frightening trend. It is a fashion of not eating. Social networks promote skinny folks with arguably high self-esteem, low calories and well build bodies. Veganism in reality is a transformed representation of Randianism . It promotes a new life style of cherishing an empty individual. Researches have shown that having high self-esteem often means having a vacuous head and many faux expectations.

Social networks dictate trends and create bubbles where teenagers hope to get one day. These bubbles are filled with overestimations of personal possibilities, and at some point they are doomed to explode. However, we do not really see those explosions. Failed instagramer can be easily replaced by another one and a grand image of being cool remains the same.

If we go on with what we started is that, the most of the people who decide to add life event on Facebook “became a vegan” do not intend to save the animals, lead healthy life or something else. The only reason is to promote themselves, and this reason is dictated by the faux bubbles of social life.

I have no doubt that this trend of being vegan will go out of fashion soon. But unfortunately something new will come.

Facebook, That is A tragedy!

Facebook as a social beast was born within the society and reconstructed it according to re-invented artificial norms. Self-efficiency of each profile includes fragmented notions about immortality. What we’ve got here is a space where things just happen, outcomes are evident but again depend on social choices… Even if we die we continue existing in network…

Users share tragic and happy moments, mark places where they’ve been, tick their daily events etc… one may argue, that there is nothing new in sharing personal, even too intimate thoughts in order to get social feedback, but problem attached to modern ways of socializing are not that much easy to handle. People provoke feelings only to make a “share” -able story, they go to parties with cameras trying to catch best of themselves…. What was the means before became the end now. Nobody ever before re-kissed girl 10000 times only to get a good caption out of it… Now i guess people have girlfriends only to share…

Another thing with social network is that, WE acquire social statuses according to our FB activities. Friend list, wall posts, profile descriptions, serve to create out public image, in the most cases, images are quasi social, and falsification of what is in reality…

In the end i want to ask, if you like this post just “Like” it, if not “Share.”
